Welcome to our website!

We have three fully equipped self-catering caravans and they are situated on the croft land of Sunnyside adjacent to Rufford.

Burray is connected to the Orkney Mainland by the Churchill Causeways - making it easy to see all the places of interest.

There are water sports, fishing and pony trekking near to the caravans, beautiful views of the Pentland Firth, Copensay and Echna Loch. There are some lovely sandy beaches, fossil museum/cafe, hotel and shop all within walking distance. St Margaret's Hope which is a short drive away has a very popular new golf course, bowling green, tennis court and a fitness suite at the Community School.

Kirkwall is just 10 miles away where you can go to the swimming pool, library and a cinema.
Sites of historical interest include St Magnus Cathedral; Bishop's & Earl's Palaces and Tankerness House Museum and many more.

Orkney is an archipelago of 70 or so islands and currently 17 of them are inhabited. Around 20,000 people live in Orkney, with most people living in the main towns of Kirkwall and Stromness.

Orkney covers an area of 974 square kilometres, with more than half being taken up by the Mainland of Orkney. The islands are about 85 km from north to south and 37 km from east to west.

The islands are low-lying, gently sloping and richly fertile with the exception of the island of Hoy, which is high and rugged. The climate is temperate, warmed by the Gulf Stream, with the driest months being April, May and June.

The quiet sandy beaches, stunning scenery, abundance of wildlife, fresh quality cuisine and warm welcoming hospitality make these islands an ideal place for relaxing.
