I am a bit of a cowboy film fan - ever since we got our first TV in the 1950's so click the cowboy Kemo Sabe.

Mikes Radio World

I love technology so here is a list of some of my gadgets.

The Roberts WM - 201 is the Rolls Royce of the WiFi Internet Radios - it uses WiFi or an ethernet cable and your computer doesn't need to be switched on.. Plays Live and Listen Again programmes from the BBC and radio stations from all over the world. I shopped around and bought mine from Home Vision in Dingwall and the postage was free.

My first WiFi internet radio that I bought,  love the modern appearance.

Magic Box Clarus Plus WiFi, Dab and FM Radio. Great radio for the money which is Frontier Silicon based - the other two are Reciva.

The Rocket FM Transmitter with a USB adapter. Great for sending embedded music such as Yahoo Music to an FM radio in the house or the car radio when I am giving it a clean.

I transfer the saved radio programmes from the Radio Shark 2 onto my ipod using MGTEK dopisp which is a plug-in for the Windows Media Player 11.
The Griffin Radio Shark works with itunes but I prefer syncing my ipod with Windows.

What a great little gadget the ipod is - great for in the car and at my work.

Never was very good at reading maps so got myself this great gadget for use on my holidays south to see the family. Amazon went and reduced the price after I bought it though!

Here are some of my favourite software downloads that I use.

I use radio time redbuttom for podcasts and music . There is a free trial before buying.

This is what I use the most for recording in mp3 format for my ipod - so easy to use and sound quality is excellent.

I paid for this but the free version is really okay. It saves each mp3 music file with a little picture that show up on the ipod.
